Ready biodegradation: OECD definition for highly biodegradable substances. Readily biodegradable substances degrade > 60-70% within a 10 day window over 28 days. L’OCDE présente trois niveaux d’essais [...] : – la biodégradabilité immédiate (OECD 301) : essais rigoureux dans lesquels la possibilité de biodégradation et d’acclimatation est limitée dans le temps. On peut affirmer qu’un produit chimique qui donne un résultat positif au cours d’un essai de ce type se biodégradera rapidement dans l’environnement et peut donc être classé comme « aisément biodégradable ». Un résultat doit être considéré comme positif si le « niveau seuil » de biodégradation atteint 60 % (DBO, CO2) ou 70 % (COD) et que celui-ci est atteint dans un intervalle de dix jours à partir du début de la biodégradation (quand elle dépasse un taux de 10 %). Un résultat négatif ne signifie pas nécessairement que le produit chimique ne sera pas biodégradé dans des conditions correspondant à celles de l’environnement, mais qu’il sera nécessaire de passer aux autres niveaux d’essais. 2, record 1, French, - biod%C3%A9gradabilit%C3%A9%20imm%C3%A9diate
