L'impression à peigne. Le peigne est constitué par un grand nombre de marteaux (jusqu'à 132). Ces derniers sont réalisés à l'aide d'une lamelle métallique comportant à son extrémité un pointeau. Le marteau est rappelé en arrière par un électro-aimant et l'élasticité de la lamelle permet la frappe d'un point. Le peigne se déplace horizontalement, ce qui permet de générer une ligne de points, puis le papier se déplace d'un pas vers le haut et on recommence l'opération.
