Biothérapie. Ce [terme] a été forgé pour désigner l'emploi, en thérapeutique anticancéreuse, de moyens biologiques naturels mais renforcés, modifiés ou détournés de leur rôle habituel. Ce ne sont pas des méthodes nouvelles mais elles se sont multipliées, améliorées et rationalisées à partir des années 1980. Ces techniques biologiques se regroupent sous deux rubriques principales : les hormones et les facteurs immunitaires.
