Military Automated Air Traffic System Project - A national air traffic system project that will automate air traffic services has been initiated by Transport Canada. To ensure that military air operations continue to function effectively, remain compatible with the national system, and keep pace with these enhancements, the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces has established the Military Automated Air Traffic System (MAATS) Project.
