Transmission des signaux audio-visuels [...] Les systèmes de transmission analogique convertissent l'information utile en un signal électrique qui est une analogie de celle-ci. C'est-à-dire que la valeur du signal électrique ou sa tension est proportionnelle à l'information à transmettre. Ce signal présente une structure continue d'informations. Les caractéristiques d'un transducteur analogique sont : la tension de sortie (en relation avec la nature du signal capté), la dynamique et la bande passante.
