The combination of immunodiffusion with electrophoresis, using an applied electric field to speed up the migration of antigen and antibody. Two such techniques have achieved widespread use: counterimmuno-electrophoresis (one-dimensional double immunoelectrodiffusion) and Laurell's rocket immunoelectrophoresis (one-dimensional single electroimmunodiffusion).
