From June 22 to 24, 1997, the Centre for Refugee Studies at York University will bring to Canada 50 international human rights experts from throughout the world. The conference, Enforcing International Human Rights Law: The Treaty System in the 21st Century, comes at time when Canada's oft-stated commitment to human rights is being subjected to international scrutiny.
