In response, Cameco stated that, by restarting the primary treatment plant, it can get the water treatment throughput up to more than 650 cubic metres per hour, and possibly up to between 700 and 800 cubic metres per hour (the nominal design capacity of the treatment plant is 450 cubic metres per hour).
