Les pneumopathies à précipitines, dont le type est la maladie du poumon de fermier, se traduisent, dans leurs formes aiguës, par un syndrome pseudogrippal avec dyspnée asthmatiforme; dans leurs formes chroniques, par une fibrose interstitielle diffuse ou une fibrogranulomatose chronique. Elles sont authentifiées par la découverte d'anticorps précipitants spécifiques ou précipitines à l'immuno-électrophorèse.
