The solids conveying in the feed hopper is generally a gravity flow of particulate polymer; the material moves down the feed hopper by its own weight. Unfortunately, this does not always work without problems. Some materials have poor bulk flow characteristics and may get stuck in the feed hopper. This problem is called arching or bridging. It is likely to occur when the particle shape is irregular, when the particle size is small, and when the internal friction of the bulk material is high. 3, record 13, English, - arching

Cross-linking of IgE receptors (under physiological conditions by antigen, under experimental conditions by antibodies to IgE, by antibodies to receptor, or by IgE aggregates) is required for receptor redistribution and for internalization of receptor. When receptor-bound IgE molecules bind to multivalent antigen they become indirectly cross-linked, they initiate histamine release from the cell, and the IgE molecules together with their receptors and their bound antigen are internalized ... A number of biochemical events have been studied that occur immediately after the apposition (or "cross-linking") of adjacent IgE receptors. 1, record 15, English, - cross%2Dlinking
