PRES is a compiled prolog language program that runs on an IBM compatible personal computer. It was written to assist team members in assigning risks to functional areas based on information gathered during a Production Readiness Review (PRR). The program is constructed from a series of lessons learned while conducting PRRs over the past six years. These lessons, in combination with the Willoughby Templates (DoD 4245.7-M), form a set of evaluation criteria which are applicable to all system development efforts.
