L'expression anglaise «biological process» est parfois rendue en français par «voie biologique» ou par «voie biochimique»; ce sont des termes voisins qui correspondent, respectivement, à l'anglais «biological pathway» ou «biochemical pathway» (voir aussi ces fiches). Il ne faut pas confondre «procédé» (méthode utilisée) et «processus» (phénomènes qui se produisent pendant une opération), qui se rendent tous deux par l'anglais «process», et «voie» (en anglais : «pathway» ou «route»), qui se rapporte au chemin suivi, aux actes effectués durant un procédé. 4, record 1, French, - proc%C3%A9d%C3%A9%20biologique
