Los dos primeros [planeadores] tenían un timón de altura anterior (canard), pero carecían de timón de dirección. El tercero tenía un doble plano vertical fijo detrás de las alas. Como mostrase tendencia a la barrena (debida a la resistencia al avance del alabeo), esta deriva doble fue sustituida por un timón de dirección simple conectado por cables al mando de alabeo.
