Le tour à pied peut paraître désuet à notre époque de moteurs. Il a cependant des avantages. Il peut s'installer partout, il est silencieux, il est peu coûteux et il oblige à un excellent exercice des jambes qui, combiné au travail du torse et des bras, fait du tournage un sport complet.
