3, record 2, French, - fus%C3%A9e

Swiss researchers have unveiled a grasshopper-sized robot capable of jumping more than 4 feet(1. 4 meters) high-marking a new record for robo-hoppers. The 2-inch-tall(5-centimeter-tall) contraption could blaze a trail for future rescue robots or swarms of interplanetary explorers, according to its developers. The robo-grasshopper, which weighs just a quarter of an ounce(7 grams) joins robotic versions of salamanders, birds, inchworms, water skimmers, dinosaurs, even robo-bacteria and robo-beetles. For years, researchers have talked about developing hopping robots that could be dropped off on Mars and jump around the Red Planet's rugged terrain, serving as scouts, samplers or communication relays. 2, record 3, English, - robotic%20hopper

Trails through some forests are blazed marked. Located on the trail side of the tree, the blaze is an axe-cut gouge from which bark and some outer wood layers have been removed. More recently in an effort to protect the trees, land managers have used bright-colored paint spots or metal disks instead of new blazes. Any of these trail markers are eye to chest high and they appear at regular intervals on selected trees.... Especially above treeline, cairns or ducks(stacked stones) mark unmaintained trail networks. 1, record 5, English, - trail%20markers

Internal frames are usually parallel aluminium staves in channels on the back of the pack. These are thinner and more flexible than frame staves found on external frames, and are usually either independent or only attached to one another at the top, so they flex and move with the wearer far more than is generally the case with external frames. This leads to greater freedom of movement, and also means that the pack body is closer in to the wearer's back, enabling the centre of mass to be held closer to the wearer's own. This isn’t as comfortable standing around as a high load, but it's a lot easier to balance it, especially off the trail in rougher stuff. 2, record 7, English, - internal%20frame
