Nondestructive testing(NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. Because NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected, it is a highly-valuable technique that can save both money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research. Common NDT methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, and eddy-current testing. NDT is a commonly-used tool in forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, systems engineering, medicine, and art. 5, record 2, English, - nondestructive%20testing

In British usage, the term "civil engineering industry" is a perfect match for the French term "industrie des Travaux publics", for both exclude the field of building construction. In American usage, however, the term "civil engineering industry" has a wider meaning, since it includes the field of building construction, which makes it more or less synonymous with the term "construction industry". 3, record 3, English, - civil%20engineering%20industry

Ethylenecopolymer bitumen(ECB). ECB membranes have been developed basically for the roofing industry but are also applied in civil engineering as sealing materials. The raw materials used for ECB are ethylene and bytyl acrylate, together forming 50 to 60%, and a special bitumen, 40 to 50%. These materials are mixed in an extrusion process at a temperature of about 160 °C. The bitumen gives the material a thermoplastic character and also acts as a softener and a light stabilizer. 1, record 7, English, - ethylene%20copolymer%20bitumen
