Canadian Rural Partnership, Pilot Projects 2000-2001. Ontario. Federal Partners : Canadian Heritage; Industry Canada; Human Resource Development Canada; Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada; National Archives of Canada. This project will enable high school students in rural Ontario municipalities to acquire practical skills in social sciences and multimedia technology, and to contribute to their communities by producing a Web page for francophone visitors and visitors who have a particular interest in French language and culture. The Web page will profile the cultural and natural attractions of individual rural municipalities in the form of thematic tourism itineraries.
