The transcortical aphasias are a group of aphasia syndromes that all have in common a relatively preserved ability to repeat, despite other significant language deficits.

There are three main types of transcortical aphasia :transcortical motor aphasia, transcortical sensory aphasia, mixed transcortical aphasia.
