Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). In 1990, workshops have been designed and developed to provide INAC employees with the necessary tools and techniques to reduce culturally based misunderstandings and conflict. As the current issues surrounding Aboriginal people including self-government, Aboriginal rights, traditional spiritually, economic development, justice, health, education, transfer funds and land claims come to the attention of the Canadian public it is imperative that INAC staff are well versed in, and understand, the history of these issues. 1, record 1, English, - Aboriginal%20Awareness%20Workshops

1, record 1, French, - Ateliers%20de%20sensibilisation%20aux%20cultures%20autochtones
