Canadian Human Rights Commission. This revised policy replaces the 1990 policy and is the result of a two-year policy review that included two rounds of consultations with First Nations. As in the original policy, the revised policy provides that First Nations employers can, in accordance with the provisions of the policy, give preference in employment to Aboriginal persons.
