Déclenchement acousto-optique. C'est l'effet Bragg qui est mis en jeu; diffraction de la lumière par un milieu traversé par des ondes sonores. Une cellule de Bragg excitée par un transducteur à ultrasons est disposée dans la cavité de Pérot-Fabry. L'excitation de cette cellule dévie le faisceau optique et provoque l'augmentation de pertes désirée.
