The demonstration-performance method combines an actual portrayal of procedures or operations with practice by the individual. In this method, the individual is told what to do and shown how to do it, and then given an opportunity to do it. It's a tell-show-do method, which might be described as an acted-out lecture.

La démonstration pratique avec application est une méthode qui combine l'exécution de procédures ou d'opérations avec une mise en pratique par l'élève. On dit à l'individu ce qu'il doit faire et on lui montre comment le faire, puis on lui donne la possibilité de le faire. C'est la méthode «dire, montrer, faire», que l'on peut décrire comme un exposé vécu.
