A rare bone tumor, almost invariably of the tibia (tibial adamantinoma), which histologically resembles the ameloblastoma of the jaw.

Adamantinome des os longs. C'est une curieuse tumeur qui ressemble à l'adamantinome du maxillaire. Elle ne se rencontre guère qu'au niveau de la diaphyse du tibia. [...] Sa pathogénie reste discutée : on parle tour à tour de néoplasme né de vestiges épithéliaux, de métaplasie pseudo-épithéliale, et d'origine vasculaire ou synoviale.
