OBS

Operates in South Carolina to assist prison inmates and those being released or paroled and to aid inmates' families. Programs include: training volunteers to visit prison inmates, especially those prisoners who never have visitors or receive mail; working with community pre-release centers; operating two residences for released male prisoners, three coed residences for released prisoners, a group home for male, mentally disturbed juveniles, and a group home for male status offenders; cooperating in a community residence for women; recruiting employers across the state to hire and train ex-offenders and their families.
