Traitement antistatique. Ce traitement facilite l'écoulement des charges électrostatiques accumulées par les textiles au cours des différentes manipulations : séchage, polymérisation, mise en matelas pour la confection, etc. Les antistatiques agissent le plus souvent grâce à des groupes hydrophiles qui, absorbant l'humidité ambiante, rendent la fibre plus conductrice.
