The ARGOS Joint Tariff Agreement (JTA) is organized under the World Meteorological Organization and Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. The JTA consists of 25 member countries who annually meet and negotiate a preferential tariff structure which is available to all government-financed or non profit programs whithin member countries. The JTA also considers and recommends ARGOS system requirements to improve the system for users.
