The Associate Mercantile Market (AMM) is the second division of the CME [Chicago Mercantile Exchange] introduced and provides trading in such markets as random lengths lumber, stud lumber, eggs, turkeys, russet burbank potatoes, and broiler chickens.

En novembre 1975, le Chicago Mercantile Exchange a créé une deuxième division : l'Associate Mercantile Market. Cette création avait pour objectif d'insuffler une nouvelle vie à des contrats qui dormaient ou dont le volume des transactions augmentait lentement ou déclinait. Pour réactiver ces marchés, 150 sièges furent vendus. Ils donnaient droit de faire des transactions sur les contrats de bois, des œufs, des pommes de terre, du milo, du beurre et des dindes congelées. Les transactions sur l'Associate Mercantile Market ont effectivement débuté le 3 février 1976.
