A method of increasing an image pixel count by moving pixels an "x" distance, sampling the colors of its neighbors and creating new pixels based on an average of those colors.

OBS

[Bicubic resampling] is a reasonable method of interpolating an image's pixels, but, on larger scales, yields a soft image.

Méthode pour augmenter le nombre de pixels d'une image consistant à déplacer ceux-ci sur une distance X, en échantillonnant les couleurs adjacentes et en créant de nouveaux pixels par le calcul d'une moyenne pour ces couleurs.

OBS

Le rééchantillonnage bicubique est une bonne méthode pour réaliser l'interpolation des pixels d'une image mais qui produit, sur une plus grande échelle, une image aux tons adoucis.
