The Bilingual Child, Global Citizen colloquium was held at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton in November 1999. A joint venture between the Society for Educational Visits and Exchanges in Canada, the Canadian Association of Immersion Teachers, the colloquium brought together second-language researchers and educators from across Canada.
