English

Subject field(s)
  • Occupation Names (General)
  • Biological Sciences
CONT

The experts agreed that there was no need for a new university discipline and that no one should be trained just as a "biotechnologist"; specific skills should be developed in an interdisciplinary context.

CONT

Biotechnologists must also overcome regulatory and social problems, like resolving the conditions under which genetically engineered crop plants or animals can be released into the environment.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Désignations des emplois (Généralités)
  • Sciences biologiques
OBS
