The blended delta with CCV can cope with ride quality, because the delta ahead of the wing can be a powerful gust-damping control surface. Electronic gust alleviation will be essential, the problem being to sense the gust edge some five metres (16 ft) ahead of the aircraft.

On fait remarquer à ce propos que le problème pourra être résolu grâce à la formule de l'aile delta avec onglets, système CAG et empennage canard, ce dernier permettant d'atténuer très efficacement les charges de rafale, atténuation pour laquelle on pourra aussi tirer parti des possibilités offertes par l'électronique car il s'agit de détecter les rafales à environ 5 mètres en avant de l'avion.
