Il s'agit d'une activité où des réservations sont faites dans plusieurs restaurants et où on demande ensuite aux employés de choisir, en secret, dans quel restaurant ils désirent aller dîner. Le jour venu, chacun se rend au restaurant de son choix et dîne en compagnie des autres employés ayant aussi choisi ce restaurant. L'expression «à l'aveuglette» traduit le fait que les employés ne savent pas avec qui ils dîneront avant la toute dernière minute.
