Some companies do not have maps or maps of certain towns or areas so in order to keep a record of their concentration of risk they make cards for each block and then list their liability on them showing policy number, amount, expiry and any other information that the company may wish recorded.

Les cartes de responsabilité par section. Certaines compagnies ne possèdent pas de livre de plans (ou de registre correspondant) ou tout au moins de plans pour certaines villes ou régions. Aussi, afin de connaître la concentration des risques qu'elles assument, elles dressent ces cartes pour chaque section d'une ville ou d'une région et y inscrivent ensuite la responsabilité qu'elles y ont assumée, en notant le numéro de la police, le montant d'assurance, la date d'expiration et tout autre renseignement jugé utile.
