The very first part of the burner that is put to use is the burner face. The face of the burner is called the air mixer. It is through this opening that the primary air is admitted to the burner.

Réglage de l'air primaire. Il s'agit d'obstruer plus ou moins l'orifice du convergent par: - une bague coulissante, - un disque fileté, - un capuchon mobile, - un déplacement de l'orifice.

OBS

Les brûleurs à flamme bleue [...] sont constituées par un injecteur, un mélangeur et une tête. Dans l'injecteur se produit le premier mélange d'air et de gaz et ce mélange est injecté ensuite dans le mélangeur ou cône convergent-divergent à l'entrée duquel est admis l'air primaire.
