The Canadian Dental Research Institute was constituted on June 20th, 1990 by the Ministry of Consumers and Corporate Affairs by virtue of part II of the Law on Canadian corporations. In 1994 C.D.R.I. received recognition form the Québec provincial government as an accredited Public Research Centre. Therefore, Canadian corporations doing research through the C.D.R.I. are eligible to receive Research and Development tax credits that can be applied over 5 years and that can substantially reduce the research cost for the corporation while providing important benefit packages.
