The Canada Grains Council, founded in 1969, is a major link between government and non-government organizations in the grain industry. Its 29 member-organizations represent thousands of individuals in every sector of the grains community. ... Membership on the Council is open to all non-government organizations or associations whose members are directly engaged in the production, handling, transportation, processing or marketing of grain and grain products. The Council draws on the expertise of its general membership and advisory group to serve on its working committees.
