The Centre is composed of two distinct but linked components that strive to ensure the safety of children in Canada and abroad: the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) and the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR). These centres work together to provide investigative assistance to local, municipal, regional, national and international policing partners. Le Centre se divise en deux groupes distincts, mais complémentaires, qui se vouent à la protection des enfants au Canada comme à l'étranger, à savoir : le Centre national de coordination contre l'exploitation des enfants (CNCEE) et le Centre national pour les personnes disparues et les restes non identifiés (CNPDRNI). Ces centres travaillent ensemble afin de fournir une assistance en matière d'enquête aux partenaires des services de police locaux, municipaux, régionaux, nationaux et internationaux.
