In 1975, the Montreal Options Clearing Corporation (MOCC) is incorporated to act as the clearing facility for options traded on the Montreal Exchange. The Canadian Clearing Corporation for Options Limited (CCCO) was incorporated on September 29 for options traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. In 1976, the Montreal and Toronto clearinghouses merge to form Trans Canada Options Inc. (TCO). In 1996, TCO changes its name to Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC). In 2000, CDCC becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bourse de Montréal Inc.

En 1975, la Chambre de compensation d'options de Montréal (CCOM) est constituée pour jouer le rôle de chambre de compensation des options négociées à la Bourse de Montréal. La Corporation canadienne de compensation d'options Limitée (CCCO) est constituée en société le 29 septembre 1975 pour les options négociées à la Bourse de Toronto. En 1977, les chambres de compensation de la Bourse de Montréal et de la Bourse de Toronto fusionnent pour former Trans Canada Options Inc. (TCO). En 1996, TCO change de dénomination sociale et devient Corporation canadienne de compensation de produits dérivés (CCCPD). En 2000, la CCCPD devient une filiale en propriété exclusive de Bourse de Montréal Inc. Et en 2002, tout en conservant sa raison sociale, la CCCPD devient la CDCC.
