The Canadian Museum Policy seeks to improve access to Canada's heritage for present and future generations. By enhancing Canadians' knowledge of their rich shared past, the policy strengthens knowledge of their distinctive present, deepening their sense of who they are. The policy also recognizes that the Canadian heritage forms a significant part of worldwide heritage.
