Cette pendule doit son nom au fait qu'elle était utilisée principalement la nuit, car une lampe à huile ou une bougie placée derrière le mécanisme permettait la luminosité de l'heure par transparence. Cette nocturne a un échappement à palettes articulées dit du "Chevalier de Béthune". Le trépied est pliable. Berne ou Bâle du XVIIIe siècle.
