The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) was founded in 1981 as an association of property and casualty insurance companies and their distributing brokerages. CSIO provides services nationally in both official languages and has offices in Toronto and Montréal. CSIO's central mandate is to support industry standards enabling a competitive advantage for the Independent Broker Distribution Channel. The activities resulting from this mandate are diverse and are expanding as technological opportunities broaden.

Le Centre d’étude de la pratique d’assurance (CEPA) est une association nationale de normalisation regroupant des assureurs en assurance de dommages, des fournisseurs de systèmes de gestion de courtage et des courtiers d’assurance indépendants qui se sont engagés depuis 1981 à améliorer l’efficacité du réseau de distribution par courtage. Le Centre offre des services à l’échelle nationale dans les deux langues officielles et possède des bureaux à Toronto et à Montréal. Le mandat principal du Centre est de contribuer à l’avantage concurrentiel du réseau de courtage indépendant. Les activités résultant de ce mandat sont variées et changent au fur et à mesure que les innovations technologiques se développent.
