OBS

The Children's Special Allowances Program of Canada Revenue Agency makes payments to approximately 500 federal and provincial agencies and institutions (e.g., children's aid societies and individual foster parents) that care for 35,000 children. These payments replace those that the Department would otherwise make to parents under the Child Tax Benefit Program.
