The Christmas Daddies Telethon is broadcast live on ATV on the first Sunday in December each year. The seven-hour telethon, a Maritime tradition since 1964, benefits less fortunate children throughout the region. Funds raised are returned to the community from which they originated and are distributed throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island by the Salvation Army.
