Year by year other cities across Canada tried the Christmas Seal campaign as a means not only of raising money but of creating the awareness that tuberculosis could be controlled. Finally, in 1927, it was agreed that the Christmas Seal campaign was to be the official method for tuberculosis associations to appeal to the public for funds.

D'année en année, d'autres villes canadiennes adoptèrent la campagne du Timbre de Noël, non seulement pour recueillir des fonds, mais aussi pour faire savoir au grand public qu'on pouvait enrayer la tuberculose. Enfin, en 1927, on décida que la campagne du Timbre de Noël constituerait la méthode officielle grâce à laquelle les associations antituberculeuses recueilleraient des fonds auprès du public.
