We consider a situation in which an asteroid (or other body) starts out in a circumplanetary orbit around Mars-perhaps the body arrived in orbit after it was ejected from the Martian surface following an impact.

La première à partir, à la mi-novembre, sera une mission franco-russe : Mars-96. Elle devrait mettre une sonde en orbite circumplanétaire, après avoir largué 2 petites stations scientifiques et 2 «pénétrateurs» qui iront, les unes se poser en surface, les autres se ficher dans le sol martien pour faire des analyses et renvoyer des données enregistrées.
