The Canadian Immunization Research Network is a multi-disciplinary network with a hundred researchers across Canada at more than 35 sites, supported by PHAC and CIHR. It has a focus on the late stage of the vaccine lifecycle from safety to programming. It provides a formal infrastructure for research and collaboration and its prime objectives are to test vaccine safety and effectiveness and maintain a rapid response capacity.
