The Societies aim to strengthen bonds of clan fellowship across Canada, to advance knowledge about the history in Canada of the MacLeods and septs, to maintain and procure documents and genealogical records for the National Archives, to encourage appreciation and performance of Celtic arts (music, piping and dancing) [and] to assist in the restoration and repair of places and objects of historical interest.
