Clean Air Online (CAOL) takes advantage of the internet to provide timely, locally relevant and action oriented information, tools and resources on Clean Air or air quality issues. It an Environment Canada (EC) lead project consisting of a national website linked to a pilot project in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In this wy, CAOL coordinates and shares information from different sources in order to present a single air quality story that is geographically relevant, comprehensive, user friendly and applicable. CAOL's central goal is to create an informed and active Canadian community by: Illustrating the links between air quality and our activities; and, Providing information and tools that support individual action to improve air quality and protect their health. 1, record 1, English, - Clean%20Air%20Online

Branché sur l'air pur met à la disposition du public des informations et des ressources axées sur l'air pur ou les problèmes de qualité de l'air qui sont tenues à jour, adaptées à chaque région et orientées vers l'action. C'est un projet d'Environnement Canada qui consiste en un site Web national lié à un projet pilote mené dans la région du Grand Toronto. De cette façon, Branché sur l'air pur coordonne et met en commun de l'information provenant de différentes sources afin de présenter une version unique de la situation en matière de qualité de l'air qui est géographiquement pertinente, exhaustive, conviviale et applicable au quotidien.
