You now need to adjust the clutch. Clearance in the clutch control cable is essential, their should ideally be 1.5 mm of free movement between the lever and its housing. Too tight and the clutch will drag and too little the clutch will not release properly and slip will occur.

Pour éviter les chocs de crabots ou les changements trop lents, il est nécessaire de respecter une garde d'embrayage minimale, mais sans excès : la course de la fourchette d'embrayage après le point de contact de l'embrayage en fin de course de débrayage du piston du cylindre récepteur. Cette garde est réglée par 1,5 à 2 tours de la tige de la fourchette d'embrayage. Le réglage effectué, il suffit de compenser l'usure lente du disque d'embrayage.
