La télévision emploie souvent un effet technique intéressant. Vous apercevez une image [ou un graphique] dans laquelle est insérée à certains endroits la séquence vidéo en cours. Ce peut être par exemple une police de caractères imprimée sur un fond noir et contenant l'image vidéo. Cet effet visuel nécessite la «transparence» d'une couleur pour le signal vidéo. Vous pouvez obtenir le même résultat avec la carte Screen Machine. Pour cela choisissez une couleur VGA à l'aide du curseur «Transparent» dans la boîte de dialogue «Réglages de l'écran» du module «TV». La couleur sélectionnée est immédiatement affichée à droite du curseur.
